My favorite holidays
Heya!
So, here I am again.
Feels weird preparing these in advance honestly.
Having a schedule? Planning ahead? Preposterous, who do you take me for?!
Anyways, I hope youve been enjoying the advent calendar so far! I certainly have :3
Or. Will have had. Probably.
Anyways!
Today we'll be talking about holidays!
And rating them.
One of my favorite holidays has always been christmas. I'm not christian myself, but I've always enjoyed celebrating it. Partially due to the gifts, but I've always just liked the stereotypical christmas-y stuff that comes with the holiday. Snow, hot chocolate, punch...1
It's always been a very cozy holiday. I really like winter, so I guess that predisposes me to enjoying christmas the most.
I'd give a 8/10.
Really fun, but I'd imagine the preparations for christmas eve can be kind of a pain.
Gotta be fair and balanced here.
Easter I've honestly never been the biggest fan of. Mostly because it's just kind of lame. You have easter-egg hunting, and... That's pretty much it. Still, it's enjoyable on account of, yknow, being a holiday, but thats all its really got going for it. Cheap chocolate and painted eggs.
4/10. Not terrible, but not all that good either.
New years eve! This one is my other favorite holiday. Getting together, making a bunch of food, having some raclette even. I mean, I've always hated raclette because its moreso exhausting than anything, but yknow. Its fun in theory. This one I like because it has a bit less anticipation for me than christmas does. With christmas you're waiting at least 24 days for it to happen, new years eve just kinda sneaks up on you. It makes the celebrations a whole lot more fun because you don't really have any big celebrations. There's no new years eve spirit you gotta get in the mood for, its just kind of an excuse to have some fun with your family and eat good food.
9/10.
I really like Halloween...
In theory.
In practice I almost never get the chance to celebrate.
I no longer really live in a town where its a big thing and I always forget to really prepare a costume or anything. I suppose that's on me though. I appreciate that there's a day of the year where its socially acceptable to dress up in fun costumes.
7/10.
Those are really all of the holidays I celebrate. ...Or feel like I should be celebrating, in Halloweens case.
Anyways! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed todays entry to the carnival :3
Cya again in a couple days!
Non-alcoholic punch to be clear, I don't drink.↩
