Some cool links I found
Heya! Honestly, I'm pretty tired today.
Alas, I don't wanna miss my posting schedule, soo...
Here's some cool links I found lying around in my bookmarks :3
This magical girl is mine
Romance story about magical girls with superpowers. Pretty realistic (for a story with magical girls, ofc), it explores what a world where magical girls exist might actually look like, instead of just sweeping all the weird implications that might come with that under the rug and never acknowledging them. Interesting factions, cool worldbuilding and great characters. Go read it! It's free and there's only like ten chapters out so far, so it's not like its a huge time commitment.
The raccoons who made computer magazine ads great
Really cool article exploring the history of the computer magazine ads of the PC Company technology connections. Read it - if only to look at the adorable raccoons.
The longest joke in the world
Exactly what it says on the tin. A website containing the longest joke in the world. Grab yourself some snacks and read the whole thing, you won't regret it. Or maybe you will, who knows. Just don't skip to the end to read the punchline, that's lame. Funnily enough, I used to have the whole thing memorized. Not so much anymore though, it's been a while since I last told the joke.
The wikipedia list of sandwiches, and this picture of the Dagwood sandwich specifically
The wikipedia list of sandwiches is one of my favorite pages on wikipedia, and this sandwich is mostly why. Someone went and made this solely to upload the image to wikipedia, and I just have to respect that. Humans are awesome sometimes. According to the description it took two whole hours to eat the dang thing, which: yeah, I can absolutely believe that. Another highlight is the chinese ham and egg bun, which is by far the saddest picture of a sandwich i've ever seen (exclusing the toast sandwich, but that's a given.) In case you haven't figured it out yet, I love this wikipedia page.
